FAQ

Frequently Asked

What is dog daycare?

Dog Daycare is a way for your dog to socialize and play in a safe environment. It is a way for your dog to interact with multiple people and dogs. The best part is knowing your dog will be well taken care of until it is time to go home.

Can i tour the facility before signing up?

Absolutely! All guests are welcome to see our facility before registering.

What is required for my dog prior to joining daycare/boarding?

Current vaccines including: Rabies, DHPP, Bordatella. Treated for ticks and fleas. Dogs must be spayed or neutered by their 1st birthday.

Is there any outside area? where will my dog go to the bathroom?

We have a fenced in outdoor area. Dogs in daycare will be brought to the outside area every 3 hours for a potty break. Dogs in boarding that are not signed up for daycare will be taken every 4 hours to the outside area.

What will my dog do during daycare?

Your dog spends the day socializing with other dogs. Our staff will also be there to play with the dogs to make sure they have the best time. We always have at least 1 kennel staff member per 10 dogs to supervise play and keep the dogs safe.

If my dog is being boarded, do I need to bring my own food?

Yes, please bring your dog's food so we don't upset their tummy while they are with us. However, if you prefer to use house food, there will be a cost of $1 per cup.

What do you do if a dog is sick or injured?

Your dogs safety is our number one priority. The owner will be contacted immediately about any illness or injury. If it is an emergency, your dog will be brought to Barrington Animal Hospital and the vet will call the owner as soon as an assessment is made.

How does boarding work?

You can choose from either our standard kennels or our luxury suites. It is recommended you bring something from home like a toy, blanket, or bed to make them feel more comfortable. All kennels will have a blanket or an orthopedic dog bed in the luxury suites. Our staff are trained to ensure your dog is safe and comfortable.
